Sterling G., aka Sterling Davis, has come a long way since his humble beginnings on the tough streets of Detroit. This hit-making songwriter, producer, composer and artist draws from Detroit’s rich musical heritage to remain focused, original and stylish. Most listeners feel that his blend of the old and the new school is his key to having staying power in the entertainment industry. Sterling a gold record accredited producer and writer has has performed, produced and written for with many well-known artists including Robin Thicke, Bobby Brown, Surface, Chico DeBarge, Victoria Beckham, Posh Spice (19 Ent.), K.C. Hailey, (Jodeci), Nikki Gilbert formerly of Brownstone, Montell Jordan (Native/Universal), Austin Brown, Sam Salter, Ollie Woodson and Darius McCrary of Family Matters to name a few. In 2002, Sterling landed a position as the Urban Music composer for CBS, UPN/The CW, composing songs and music for several nationally televised shows including CSI Miami, The Agency, Everybody Hates Chris, The Wire, One on One, Half and Half, The Game, The Girlfriends, The Game,  Americas Next Top Model The District, The Parkers, Family Matters,The Tyra Banks Show, The Bernie Mac Show and others. Sterling’s Film credits include: Phat Beach, Robbin’ In Da Hood, BeFoa & Aftah and AWake.  In 2014 Sterling expanded his boundaries by re-inventing himself as a Filmmaker, Director and Producer releasing his 1st feature “The Bout” which was followed by a series of great shorts including a Rode independent short film competition finalist “One More Everything”.
